Etwa auf Seite 180 hat der Held seine Sachen in Koffer und Kartons verpackt, die seinen richtigen Namen - Kelsey - tragen, sie müssen aber aus einem Haus abgeholt werden, in dem er unter dem Namen Neumeister gewohnt hat. Neumeister hat in diesem Landhaus fast wie ein Eremit gelebt, und die Leute aus der Stadt und die Lieferanten kennen ihn nicht mit Namen; aber trotzdem ist das Verfahren für ihn gefährlich, wenn niemand erfahren soll, dass Neumeister und Kelsey ein und dieselbe Person sind.

Vielleicht könnte ich es vom Standpunkt eines Hotelgastes aus schreiben, der sie beobachtet", sagte ich, aber auch das machte mir nicht viel Hoffnung.
