A full NASTRAN free-free model is derived for several configurations of the satellite, correspon ding to different orientations of solar arrays and antennae. The method is based on the classical transformation x = <|>q which diagonalyzes the m~ k matrix in the linear system mx* + kx = F obtained by discretization of the structure and linearization of dynamics equations. -Ω 2 0 2 2 , Ω = diag (o^) , 0 B = Table 5 gives the nature and frequency of the first 30 modes of the whole structure, for a satellite configuration with normal vectors of solar arrays being parallel to the bissectrix between the roll and yaw axes and antennae oriented along the yaw axis.
